2003 Earth Day Clean-up
Sponsored By: NEA4WDC

Environmental Call to Action

The NorthEast Association of 4WD Clubs (NEA4WDC) is holding it's third annual Earth Day Clean-up! This is a monumental event to show that we care about our environment. Come join in the fun and work as we clean up the Mason Brookline area, which is often neglected by OHRVs and others. We want to show the local community and the OHV community that the NEA4WDC and it's club members are responsible and willing to do what it takes to make our environment cleaner.  The Association will also be utilizing their Safety Patrol Program as part of the clean-up efforts by having Patrollers at each trailhead.  Not sure what the Safety Patrol Program is? Read up on it at www.nea4wd.org.

This years event promises extensive advertising throughout local media networks and will be followed up by a formal letter to landowners of the Mason Brookline area informing them of our efforts.  This letter will be drafted by the NEA4WDC Land Committee and will also be distributed to local media networks as a follow-up to the event.

Your help is needed on April 19, 2003

Please RSVP to Roy VanGemert, Jr.  if you can attend.   We need people willing to walk various sections of the trail and pick-up trash, people to act as checkpoints for the workers, etc.  As with the past clean-ups, the Brookline Transfer Station has agreed to work with us to receive the trash we collect.

Please remember this is not a day to wheel, but a day to improve our environment.

Directions and meeting time will be sent after RSVP
